Co-Founder, CEO Mr Blake Rickards, vision that every Australian deserves the Best Life, as they possibly can. The Vision has come to light in March 2018, creating a charity not-for-profit organisation “My Best Life Australia” (MBLA). It is My Best life, for all Australians.
MBLA has been targeting and aiding the Victims of Domestic Violence, in order to provide counselling and support the process of moving them to better life. On average, one woman a week is murdered by her current or former partner. Retrieved from HERE. These facts are alarming and disturbing. The figure only grows if we do not stand together and put a stop to it.
MBLA in relation to Domestic Violence, has also been involved with Homelessness and providing aid for victims. Mr Blake Richards acknowledging the endless paper work and agencies involved for a victim of Homelessness, has been working with a group of volunteers “busy bus project”. taking the old and unused buses from NSW local government and converting them into usable, short term accommodations for the victims.
Aims Of The Project
To establish workshops to teach men how to better communicate with their spouses and children.
To establish workshops to teach women how to deal with difficult partners and to re-train women to believe in themselves and their value.
To create a network of safe houses to provide crisis accommodation for all victims of Domestic Violence and Homelessness.
To provide safe houses for men to unwind and be mentored by seniors. Including Aboriginal elders.
To arrange or refer the victims for longer-term placement of families with ‘empty nesters’ who will nurture, support and equip single parent t re-establish their self worth, and respect from their children.
